Yes. Personal accounts can't connect to the Meta API. You can switch from personal to Business in your Instagram settings — it's free and takes under a minute.

No. Mastak connects through Meta's official Graph API, which is what ManyChat, Hootsuite, Buffer, and every other legitimate tool uses. Grey-zone tools (fake browsers, Selenium scrapers) get accounts restricted. We don't use any of that.

Open Telegram, message @BotFather, send /newbot, pick a name and username. BotFather sends you a token (a long string like 123456:ABC-DEF...). Copy it, go to Mastak → Channels → Connect Telegram, paste the token. Mastak wires up the webhook for you — your bot is live the moment you save.

Mastak connects to a Telegram bot you create via BotFather. It won't touch your personal Telegram account. Your audience messages the bot username you chose.

Yes. Connect both from the Channels page. They share the same AI brain and show up in the same Inbox. You set up triggers separately for each platform.

It runs a sales pipeline: welcome the lead, ask a few qualifying questions, show value, handle objections, push toward a close or hand off to you. You tell it what you sell and how you want it to sound (system prompt + knowledge base). It answers from your facts, not from guesses.

Go to the Knowledge page. Upload a PDF, paste a URL, or paste raw text — your price list, FAQ, product descriptions, common objections. The more you give it, the better it answers. An empty knowledge base means the bot is guessing; a solid one means it handles 80% of questions accurately.

It mirrors whoever it's talking to. Customer writes in Spanish, bot replies in Spanish. Customer switches to English mid-conversation, the bot follows. You don't set anything.

Yes. In the Inbox, pause the AI on any specific conversation and reply by hand. The bot backs off for that person until you re-enable it. Nobody gets an automated reply mid-deal when you'd rather close it personally.

Yes. Cancel from your account settings. Your access continues until the end of the billing period. No cancellation fees.

Check the Channels page — is the channel showing as connected? For Telegram, double-check the token you pasted matches the one BotFather gave you (a half-copied token is the most common issue). For Instagram, check that the webhook is active. If the channel shows as connected but it's still silent, open the Conversations page and check whether messages are showing up there.

It's missing facts. Head to the Knowledge page and add whatever it got wrong — the price, the policy, the product detail. The bot answers from what you give it, so gaps in the knowledge base become gaps in the answers.

Meta tokens expire occasionally. Go to Channels and reconnect your Instagram account — it takes about a minute and resets the token.

It shouldn't — language mirroring is automatic. If it's happening, check your system prompt: if you wrote the prompt entirely in English and told it to "always reply in English," it'll follow that instruction. Remove the language restriction from the system prompt.
