Beyond keyword scripts.

BotHelp runs keyword-based automation on Telegram and VK. Mastak runs a real AI sales pipeline — it qualifies leads, handles objections, remembers the conversation, and works both Instagram and Telegram from one account.

The short version

BotHelp is a solid RU-market Telegram automation tool with a wide user base among Russian-speaking creators and small businesses. It handles keyword triggers, sequences, and basic flows. What it doesn't do: Instagram (official Meta API), AI conversation with memory, or a sales pipeline that adapts based on what each lead says. Mastak does all three, at a flat monthly rate.

BotHelp is Telegram. Mastak is Telegram + Instagram.

BotHelp's core is Telegram and VK automation — it doesn't have native Instagram comment-to-DM via the official Meta API. If Instagram is part of your funnel, BotHelp isn't a full solution. Mastak runs both channels from one dashboard, one AI, one subscription. Comment-to-DM on Instagram, DM automation on Telegram — same settings, same knowledge base, same conversation history.

One tool for both channels.

Keyword triggers vs. AI that reads intent

BotHelp works on keyword matching: someone sends a specific word, the bot fires a scripted response tree. This works for simple use cases — delivering a lead magnet, confirming a registration. It breaks when the lead asks something off-script, changes their mind mid-conversation, or needs an actual answer about your product. Mastak's AI reads the intent behind each message. If someone asks 'how much is the full price?' in the middle of an onboarding flow, the AI answers instead of routing them to a dead end. Memory means it also doesn't ask the same qualifying question twice.

Reads intent. Doesn't dead-end.

Pricing models

BotHelp charges per subscriber base — the more subscribers your bot has, the higher the plan. This creates a similar dynamic to ManyChat: growth is punished. Mastak charges per conversations used, at a flat monthly cap. A Start plan at $12/month covers 1,000 AI conversations — most accounts don't come close to that ceiling.

Flat rate. No subscriber tax.

BotHelp is built for the RU market. So is Mastak.

BotHelp has deep roots in the Russian-speaking market — Russian-language interface, payment integrations suited to RU, a large community. Mastak launches with RU + EN simultaneously: Russian-language dashboard, ЮKassa payment routing for RU cards (SBP ~0.4–0.7%), and Telegram-first architecture for markets where Instagram reach is constrained. We're not US-first with an afterthought RU translation.

Russian-first, not an afterthought.

Mastak

  • You need Instagram comment-to-DM alongside Telegram
  • You want AI that qualifies leads and handles objections

Common questions

Can I keep BotHelp for Telegram and use Mastak for Instagram?
Yes — they operate independently. BotHelp owns the Telegram bot token while you run it; Mastak takes it over when you switch. During evaluation, you can run Mastak on Instagram only and keep BotHelp for Telegram, then consolidate once you've seen how the AI performs.
BotHelp has a large RU community and resources. Does Mastak?
BotHelp's community is more established. Mastak is earlier — we're building that in public. What we have: direct support from the team, documentation in Russian and English, and no ticket queue.
Does Mastak support VK?
No. VK automation isn't on the roadmap. If VK is a primary channel for your business, BotHelp is the right tool.
Is the AI good enough to replace keyword flows entirely?
For most sales conversations — yes. For edge cases like 'send a specific document when the user types a specific code' — a keyword trigger is more reliable. Mastak handles those with a comment keyword trigger for the entry point, then hands the conversation to AI. You don't have to pick one or the other for every scenario.
